Artist Statement

" I am often described as a photorealist or hyperrealist and I do not reject the description of my artistic style as photorealistic. My purpose as an artist is to explain my interpretation of some experiences, moments we like but tempt to forget as life goes by. Sometimes a single moment in time captured visually can more accurately epitomize a psyche or a mood than continuous motion.

I think of my art as visual reality, as a glimpse into my soul. It tends to be in a form that blends perceptions of reality with fantasy, blurring the lines between what is real and what is not. Sharing it is an invitation for viewers to pause and explore their own inner landscape, feelings and moments. I want to capture moments that reveal something immediate and universal. ..."
