Jordan: English Bulgarian - born Jordan Sourtchev, 23 October 1961 in Nesebar, Bulgaria. Jordan has been trained as a traditional artist, studying at some of the most prestigious art schools in Europe - Kazanlak School of Fine Arts during the period: 1976 / 1981 (Fine Arts High School Kazanlak, Bulgaria) and V.Tarnovo University of Fine Art receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in 1988. 1984 / 1988 (University of Fine Arts V.Tarnovo, Bulgaria. He has combined his knowledge of traditional painting, drawing and picture making, with the technologies of today. It's this unique level of education and experience, not easily obtained, that he brings to each new assignment. He has been working and developing as an artist ever since, creating a lot of fine art illustrations for magazines, newspapers and books. Jordan is very well known as an artist in the fields of surrealism, realism and hyperrealism. The influence can be seen in much of his early work and it is still visible in his latest drawings, oil and acrylic paintings. During the early years of his carrier Jordan was influenced by the art of Japan and the art of the Dutch masters including the early impressionism in France. His love for details outlines the character of his style and gave him the nickname "the detail”. During the period of 1993 / 2000 his work became very popular and he has established a solid private and corporate clientele. Jordan's work now can be seen in more than 80 countries and in more than 200 companies all over the world. His work was published and distributed by many companies in Europe and United States.
